"Bâton" steel hands. Notes Ref. 6238This reference called by collectors the Pre-Daytona, was produced in 18K and 14K gold and in stainless steel. It was published for the first time in the Rolex catalogue for the Italian Market in 1964 and remained in subsequent catalogues until 1967.
