Chinese, Ming Dynasty Jiajing Period mark (1507-1567), likely 19th century but possibly earlier. A round porcelain dish decorated to center with overglaze iron red hand painted imperial five-clawed dragon amidst cloud scrolls and within underglaze cobalt double rings at decoration and on rim, and exterior decoration on tondo of two iron red five-clawed chasing dragons, with double cobalt underglaze rings at rim and foot. Marked to underside with cobalt underglaze six character Jiajing Imperial reign mark within double cobalt rings. Approximately 5.75" diameter at rim, 1" tall.
