Plojoux, Genève - Montreux - Paris, circa 1910. Fine silver, gilt brass and enamel eight-day going strut clock, in original fitted box. Silver half moon shaped with cast foliage and ribbon knot decoration, the dial flanked by two painted Swiss lake side landscapes with outer small floral ornaments painted over a blue flinqué ground. The strut hinged on the gilt brass engine-turned back, engraved with a dedication dated 1948. Oval silver with luminescent Arabic numerals, the centre decorated with a basket of flowers. Luminescent “skeleton” hands. 18’’’, rhodium plated, “fausses côtes” decoration, 15 jewels, straight linelever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring.Signed on the dial.Dim. 145 x 90 mm.
