Matching gold, bloodstone set châtelaine with seal and key, decorated with a count’s crown above the joined coat of arms of the Pellu du Champrenou and Juchault des Jamonières families. White enamel with Roman numerals. Gold fancy hands. 10 1/2’’’, gilt brass, bar calibre with going barrel, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain gilt brass three-arm balance, flat balancepring.Signed on the dial, cuvette and movement.Diam. 28 mm.Accompanied by the matching Heraldic justification. Notes This watch was certainly commissioned for the wedding of Count Jules Ernest Marie Pellu du Champrenou with Louise Marie Juchault des Jamonières, celebrated on October 13, 1870.
