Swiss, circa 1780. Fine and unusual 18K gold watch with concealed erotic painted enamel scene. Three-body, Louis XVI, the back chased with a farm maid feeding rabbits, disclosing a painted enamel panel on a concealed compartment, depicting a young couple working for posterity. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minutes ring. Gold Louis XVI hands. Hinged gilt brass full plate with conical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece.Diam. 39 mm.
