Swiss, circa 1820. Fine, 18K gold and enamel, pearl and diamond-set, quarter repeating watch with special escapement. Four-body, Empire with reeded band and split-pearl set bezels, the blue flinqué enamel back panel centred with a large rose-cut diamond. Hinged gold cuvette. Gold engine-turned with Breguet numerals on white enamel cartouches. Blued steel Breguet hands. 16’’’, gilt brass with free standing barrel, virgule escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring. Repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant.Diam. 40 mm.
