Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring, sunk subsidiary dials for days of the week, dates and seconds with inner month indication, moon phase aperture with its age on the border. Gold “Louis XV” hands. 20’’’, gilt brass, gold wheel train, 31 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band.Signed on the cuvette.Diam. 56 mm. Notes This watch, which carries the trademark of Audemars Piguet, punched on the case, according to the serial number, was apparently completed by this firm circa 1890 with a movement produced by Louis Audemars.
