Three-body mahogany box with sunk brass handles, glazed upper section with hinged lid. Brass bowl and gimballed suspension. Silvered with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and Up-and-Down scale. Gold “pear” hands. Spotted brass full plate, relieved for the barrel, with cylindrical pillars, inverted fusee with chain and maintaining power, Earnshaw type spring detent escapement, Guillaume integral balance, diamond end-stone, free sprung palladium helical balance spring with terminal curvs Signed on the dial and movement.
