White enamel chapter ring with Roman numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. 18’’’, gilt brass, inverted with central barrel, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring. The movement is wound by means of the revolving back, the hands set by means of the crown.Signed on the front plate.Diam. 47 mm. Notes The movement of this watch was made with a calibre which was adopted by other makers for the construction of eight-day going watches with the mainspring fitted on the back of the movement such as the fifteen-day going watches patented by Gontardin 1846.
