French, miniature by Paillet, circa 1910, case No. 3986 attributed to Verger, Paris.Fine oval platinum, diamond- and pearl-set pendant watch with matching pearl set chain. Three-body, oval within rose-cut diamond and seed pearl-set frame, the glazed back with ivory inset painted with a fine blue and white miniature in Neo-classical style of Venus and Cupid on the back and probably the Bath of Diana in the front. Ivory, painted miniature in matching style, white, delicate Arabic numerals, blued-steel Breguet hands.
