Production of this model started in 1922.Very rare and interesting double-cased 9K pink gold gentleman's wristwatch. five-body, solid, polished, outer case with stepped rounded and reeded screw down bezel, hinged and polishedinner second case. Notes This case model was patented in 1921 and is one of the various examples made in the search for perfect water-resistancein watch cases. However, being too expensive to produce and rather impractical, this system was rapidlyabandoned and replaced, some years later, by a model with a screw down bezel, case back, and crown.
