Movement engraved "Patd. Aug. 23.87, April 30.89, +894". Diam. 55.3 mm. Notes This watch is an excellent example of a European movement based on Waltham's designs. The first patent relates to an improved repeating mechanism invented by J. G. Tongue, and the second to another improvement found in Waltham repeaters utilizing Charles Morlet's idea.
