Lange-Uhr, DUF, "OLIV", No. 504024, circa 1937.Fine 14K gold hunting-cased, keyless pocket watch. Four-body, "Lucia", polished, gold hinged cuvette. Tri-colored gilt, upright Arabic numerals on dark gold, darker ring, outer minute divisions on light ring, light center, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "cathedral" hands. Notes Lange developed DUF watches in cooperation with Dürrstein & Co. to meet the popular demand for his watches. Those in Louis XV cases appear to be their highest grade models.
