Patek, Philippe & Cie. , Genève, No. 137696, case No. 248101, circa 1905.Very fine and rare 18K gold keyless double-train trip minute-repeating watch. Four-body, "bassine", polished, gold hinged cuvette. White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute ring with five-minute red Arabic markers, subsidiary sunk seconds. Gold "Louis XV" hands. Notes Patek Philippe started making double-train trip repeaters around 1900 and continued making them, in very limited quantities, over the next 25 years. There are fewer than thirty of them known.
