Italian, Mid 19th century. Inlaid Sorrento tilt top table with round mahogany top with satinwood inlay in geometric radiating form surrounding central decoration of spotted butterfly perched on leaved branch within circular medallion. Top raised on a tapered hexagonal shaft terminating on a tripod base. Table with table tilted up vertically: approximate height 39.75". Table with top flat horizontally: approximate height 27", diameter of top 25.5".
