Fine, center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant to 100 meters, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with stainless steel Oyster bracelet. three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown. satiné silver with applied steel bâton indexes and outer tritium dots. "Bâton" tritium-coated steel hands. Cal. 1520, rhodium-plated, "oeil-de-perdrix" decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm. Notes The “Air-King” was first introduced in 1953 in honor of the Royal Air Force pilots who flew in the battle of Britain. The event took place from July 10 to October 31, 1940.
