Chronometer with 7 Complications Ulysse Nardin, Locle, Suisse, No. 17205, circa 1925. Unique and very fine 18K gold hunting-cased keyless astronomical minute-repeating pocket chronometer with perpetual calendar, phases of the moon, chronograph and 30-minute instantaneous register in original fitted leather box, accompanied by original certificate and the company’s Bulletin de Marche dated March 1927. Four-body, "bassine", engine-turned, front with engraved initials, gold hinged cuvette, chronograph activation button on the band at 12 o’clock. White enamel, bold upright Arabic numerals, outer minute/seconds track with five-minute/seconds Arabic markers, four subsidiary sunk dials for days of the week, date, months of the four-year leap cycle concentric with minute register, and subsidiary seconds with phases of the moon aperture. Gold "spade" hands. 45 mm. (20’’’), rhodium-plated, 39 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band.
