Four-body, "bassine", polished, with a small monogram on the back, gold hinged cuvette, milled groove for the slide in the band. 40.6 mm ø, nickel, half-plate caliber, 32 jewels, straight line counterpoised lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, "swan-neck" micrometric regulator, repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band.Signed on dial, case and movement.Diam. 52 mm. Notes The engraving on the cock “Patent Feb 5, 67” refers to American patent No. 61867, granted to George P. Reed of Boston, Massachusetts, an employee of the Waltham Watch Company, for a “Regulator for a balance by a screw and a spring”, which today we call "swan-neck" micrometric regulator.
