Two concentric sliding cylinders, the outer one in four symmetrical parts, each with a floral and foliate pattern in translucent green and blue champlevé enamel, parts divided by silver laurel leaves on a blue enamel ground, the inner cylinder polished silver, the top with a watch hinged in a round, threaded case screwed over the lens, decorated with a matching laurel leaf pattern on the same blue enamel background. White enamel, Arabic numerals, outer minute dot divisions. Gold "beetle anindex" hands. 32.6 mm ø, hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain three-arm steel balance, English style cock.Signed on the movement, case stamped “ET” in a rectangle.Dim. Length when open 220 mm, closed 148 mm, diam. 37 mm.
