Chronometer Movado, Swiss, No. 340034, made for Henri Blanc, Genève, circa 1925.Very fine and rare 18K gold keyless pocket lever chronometer, "1ère Classe" winner of the Timing Contest at the Neuchâtel Observatory, accompanied by original box. Four-body, "bassine", polished, gold hinged cuvette. White enamel, Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary sunk seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. Notes Movado made a limited number of movements with caliber 340 - pocket chronometer, most of which were destined for the Observatory trials. This watch is the 34th from this series.
