Lange & Söhne, Glashütte,No. 60762, sold to Robert Pleissner in Dresden on 27 November 1908.Very fine and rare 18K gold hunting-cased keyless lever chro-nometer 1st quality watch, in original leather fitted Lange box. Accompanied by factory certificate. Four-body, "Lucia", massive (106.7 gr.), bezels engraved with repeated acanthus leaves, front with engraved monogram, gold hinged cuvette over gold bezel glazed for viewing the movement. White enamel, double sunk, Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Gold "Louis XV" hands. Notes An excellent example of Lange's best quality watches. The inscrip-tion on the cuvette suggests that the watch was given as a present to an important official for 25 years of service from a Mining Association in Lugau, an important German mining town.
