Their movements were generally of high quality, from 11" to 22"', with 18 jewels, a gold screwed setting on the central wheel, an endstone for the escapement wheel and a sapphire endstone for the balance-wheel. They bore a Breguet balance spring and a swan-neck micrometer regulator.
