John Widdicomb Russian style Karelian birch Secretaire a Abattant having a rectangular pediment mounted with three stepped platforms with three quarter pierced gallery over a long frieze drawer and fall front enclosing an interior with five chequer inlaid small drawers, seven letter slots and three large rounded arched pigeon holes, the case with single drawer over a deep file cabinet drawer simulated as two drawers, the whole raised on square, tapered legs. Drawer retains John Widdicomb tag. Height 60", width 41.15", depth 18.5".
