Four-body, "bassine", triple-hinged, by Dueber, engine turned reeded bezels, vermicelli band, gold hinged cuvette. White enamel, white Arabic numerals on blue cartouches, light blue rosette in the center, sunk sub-seconds. Blued steel "Morning Glory" hands. 18 size, nickel, elaborately damascened with double cross-hatched pattern, 15 jewels, lateral counterpoised lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, Chalmers patented (No. 269,385) micrometric regulator. Signed on dial and movement.Diam. 54 mm. Notes Fancy Illinois dials are very rare; Wiggers is unrecorded by Meggers and Ehrhardt.
