Four-body, "bassine et filets", by "E.T.", No. 16970, engine turned covers with floral border, gold hinged cuvette with inscription and engine turned ring. Black on white background, radial Arabic numerals cut from the black layer, outer minute track, sunk sub-seconds. Gold "Spade" hands. L size, frosted gilt, 3/4 plate, 15 jewels, straight line Cole resilient lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel flat balance spring.Signed on dial and movement.Diam. 52 mm. Notes Black dials on Howard watches are very rare, especially with Arabic numerals.
