Breguet No. 5047, sold to Monsieur Maltsoff on July 16, 1833, for 1,400 francs.Very fine slim 18K gold watch with eccentric dial with regulator, with a short gold chain and gold Breguet key, accompanied by a Breguet certificate. Three-body, "forme quatre baguettes", by Joly, No. 706, engine-turned, back cover with winding aperture opened by a small bolt at the band. Notes The watch was chosen in 1923 by the House of Breguet to represent their achievements in very prestigious exhibition Centenaire de A.L. Breguet in Paris hold in the Musée Galliera. It was described and illustrated in the catalogue under No. 211. Later it became property of Lord Salomon, who illustrated and described it in his book under No. 49.
