Gilt bronze molded, standing on four bun-feet and glazed four faces and top, the movement inside, supported by a massive pyramidal white stand. Silvered with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds. Polished steel Breguet hands. Brass circular with cylindrical pillars secured by screws, going barrel, Vérité constant force escapement, half-second beating invar-elinvar pendulum with spring suspension.Signed on the dial.Dim. 60 x 37,5 x 26,5 cm. Notes This constant force escapement is based on the one invented byL. A. Vérité, exhibited in 1839, it was improved the same year by J.-Th. Winnerl.
