Pechemiel, Madrid, 1878.Very fine and rare 18K gold and enamel keyless early chronograph watch. Four-body, "bassine et filets", solid, engine-turned back with the monogram "SFR", gold hinged cuvette with two very fine painted on enamel portraits of a gentleman and a lady against a florally engraved background, early round pendant. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute/seconds divisions with five-minute/seconds Arabic markers, subsidiary sunk seconds. Blued steel "fleur-de-lis" hands.
