Brinkmann, Naples, Italy, circa 1905.Very fine silver keyless deck chronometer with winding indicator and special balance, accompanied by an Extract from the Archives. Four-body, "bassine", polished, hinged silver cuvette. Notes Movements with double-stamped serial number were usually destined for observatory timing contests. This one comes from a series that was destined for the Geneva and Kew trials between 1906 and 1909, and most likely took part in oneof them.
