Three-body, knife edge, engine-turned, gold hinged cuvette, top of the pendant following the shape of the bow. Silver, engine-turned, eccentric Roman hour chapter set to the right, Arabic minute chapter to the left, thermometer sector below. 41,8 mm, early bridge caliber, 10 jewels, ruby cylinder escapement, plain three-arm gilt balance, blued steel flat balance spring, bimetallic strap thermometer based on the one invented by Houriet.Stamped on the movement "SM II 4".Diam. 47 mm. Notes Sylvain Mairet (1805-1890) is recorded as being an important watchmaker from Le Locle.
