It is an observation watch with center-seconds allowing the exact adjustment of time by means of a stop-system by "tirage" connected to the winding-crown.This watch was developed beginning in 1939-1940 by Lacher & Co. in Pforzheim, especially for the flying members of the German Air Forces. The last watches of this type were made in 1944. A special series of 1000 pieces, based on this movement, with small seconds, was subsequently manufactured for the Navy, but no further delivery was made to the Ground Forces. After June 1944, no more watches were made with this caliber.
