Produced in the 1950's.Fine 18K yellow gold mid-sized wristwatch, with triple date calendar. three-body, solid, polished, curved and lapidated lugs, pushers on the band for changing the date. matte silver with painted radial Roman numerals, auxiliary seconds dial, outer graduation for the days of the month in blue Arabic numerals, apertures for the days of the week and the months. "Bâton" gold hands. Notes This watch may be considered the prototype of the "Magique", Cal. 1356/7 launched in 1981.Only 7 examples were made to celebrate the magic number 7. They were presented simultaneously in 7 major cities worldwide at 7 gala banquets prepared by 7 great chefs, and were commemorated by a special edition of 7 lithographies signed by 7 great contemporary artists.Of these 7 pieces, the whereabouts of the following are known: one in the Musée International d'horlogerie in La Chaux-de-Fonds; one in the Musée des Monts in Le Locle; one in the Omega Museum in Bienne; one (with a cracked glass) in Omega's Museum reserve; the present watch.The "Dinosaure" model with a thickness of 1.48 mm. was produced in a total of 370 examples.A similar watch is published in "Omega Saga", by Marco Richon, p. 281.
