Produced in the 1970's.Fine water-resistant, stainless steel aviator's wristwatch with "retour en vol" round button chronograph and registers, with black bezel. three-body, polished, screwed-down case back, graduated revolving bezel, lapidated lugs. black with tritium-coated Arabic numerals, auxiliary dials for the seconds and 15 minutes registers. "Bâton" tritium-coated hands. Notes The words "retour en vol" refer to the instantaneous fly-back and restart feature of the chronograph work. A single push on the lower chronograph button zeroes the chronograph hand whilst still in motion, which then restarts immediately, avoiding the need for a pilot to break concentration from the control of the plane. (It then restarts immediately, allowing the pilot to devote his full attention to flying.)
