Three-body, the back enamel painted with a charming scene depicting Venus at her toilet, with Cupid holding the mirror she admires herself in, a concealed compartment under the back cover with two further libertine enamel painted scenes, the bezel with a floral enamel decoration. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Blued steel "poker and beetle" hands. Hinged gilt brass full plate with square baluster pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, flat balance-spring, gilt brass single foot cock pierced and engraved with foliage.Signed on the back plate.Diam. 46 mm.
