Patek, Philippe & Cie. , Genève, No. 193411, case No. 415159, circa 1930.Very fine 18K gold, keyless, "EXTRA" adjusted pocket chronometer with special balance. Accompanied by a box. Four-body, "demi-bassine", polished with the blue champlevé initials "TE" on the back, later gold hinged cuvette. White enamel with blue Breguet numerals and blue outer minute ring, subsidiary sunk seconds also with blue indications. Gold "Louis XV" hands. Notes Superbly adjusted Swiss watches of the period, and particularly those of Patek Philippe, were signed "EXTRA". This watch came from a series of watches destined for the 1930 and 1931 Geneva Observatory Trials and most likely took part in one of them.For note on Guillaume balance, see lot 720.
