Third version, produced in 1955, sold on July 6, 1956.Fine, center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with black bezel. Accompanied by certificate of guarantee. Notes This watch is the third version of the "Submariner" watch with indication of the water-tightness, 100m/330ft but it did not yet have the crown-guard case. The first version launched in 1953 without the crown-guard case, did not indicate the waterproof depth and did not have Mercedes hands.
