Notes Blancpain "Répétition Minutes Automatique"water-resistantThis Blancpain minute-repeater is the only one with a slide on the case band, that has a locking device for hermetic protection of the movement against intruding moisture and water-a problem often associated with less sophisticated slide designs. It was produced in 18K white gold and yellow gold, 10 examples of each. Cases with any other activating slide than this Blancpain timepiece have to be kept accordingly to avoid damage to the delicate movement.
