Petit Médaillon d'or Abraham-Louis Breguet, No. 2919, "Petit Médaillon d'or à deux aiguilles", shipped to Le Roy in Constantinople on September 2, 1816, for 2000 francs. Very fine and extremely rare 20K gold end enamel cabriolet pendant watch made for the Islamic market. Outer: two-body, by Joly, No. 2052, scarlet champlevé enamel over flinqué, central star. Inner: three-body, back and bezel on the same hinge, light blue champlevé star, gold laurel leaf wreath, bezels en suite. Notes This watch is one of the smallest made by Breguet for the Islamic market. The records indicate that he made only six of them.
