Very fine and rare, tonneau-shaped, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, triple date and a stainless steel Rolex buckle. two-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown. matte silver with inlaid steel pyramidal indexes and Arabic numerals, auxiliary "guilloché" dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers, outer blue painted graduation for the days of the month, apertures for the days of the week and the months. Steel "Bâton" hands. Notes It is unusual to have inlaid indexes and numerals as in the present watch; they are usually applied. Ref. 6036/6236 Chronograph antimagnetic with triple date. Produced from the mid-40s to the early 60s in few examples in 18K yellow or pink gold and very few in stainless steel, with different dial design and hand shape, with 4 different references: - in the mid 40s, Ref. 4767 - from 1948 to 1951, Ref. 5036. - from 1951 to 1955, Ref. 6036 called by collectors the "Jean-Claude Killy watch" world ski champion in the 1960s. This reference was produced in 170 examples in yellow gold, 144 examples in pink gold and very few in stainless steel. - from 1958 to 1962, Ref. 6236.
