Swiss or German, circa 1840. Fine steel and brass face plate engine. Centering plate with two dog clamps, steel bed, driven by in-line one wheel transmission with a crank lever, mono-directional slide rest controlled by crank, angular cutter adjustment. Later wooden base. Base dim. 27 cm x 15 cm, overall lentgh 38 cm. Good condition. A very well preserved tool.
