Fine and rare 18K gold hunting-cased keyless double-dial astronomical minute-repeating watch with calendar and phases of the moon. five-body, “bassine”, polished. white enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions, center with aperture for the phases of the moon, subsidiary sunk seconds. Blued steel “spade” hands. Reverse with matte gilt and silver calendar dial, inner 31-day date ring on gilt background, month aperture between 1 and 31, outer days of the week silvered ring. Notes The movement is based on two patents by Henri Jacot-Burmann, patented on March 31, 1903 and Pierre Jacot des Combes, patented on May 15 1906, relating to the calendar mechanism. Although they became popular, it is very rare to find one with a repeater.
