Very fine 18K gold minute-repeating, keyless pocket watch with split-second chronograph and 60-minute register. four-body, "bassine", polished, on the back a five-pointed diamond and sapphire star, gold hinged cuvette, milled groove for the slide in the band, dedication on the cuvette. Notes The engraving on the cock “Patent Feb 5, 67” refers to American patent o. 61867, granted to George P. Reed of Boston, Massachusetts, an employee of the Waltham Watch Company, for a “regulator for a balance by a screw and a spring”, which today we call "swan-neck" micrometric regulator..
