Ilbery, London, No. 6810, made for the Chinese market circa 1830. Very fine,18K gold and enamel, pearl-set, center seconds watch. Accompanied by an original wooden fitted box. three-body, “bassine”, gold hinged cuvette, the back enameled with a geometric pattern on blue ground within a fruit of the vine surround on black ground, half pearl-set bezels, chased band, half pearl-set pendant and bow. white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute/seconds ring, fifteen-minute/second Arabic markers. Gold “cup” hands.
