The Scallop Shell. Geneva, No. 122, circa 1810. Fine 18K gold and enamel, pearl-set form watch with concealed dial, designed as a scallop shell. Two-body, spring-loaded, each half with a translucent scarlet enamel center with blue enamel border over fine flinqué, the front with white and blue champlevé enamel, graduated pearl-set edge, oval gold suspension ring with white enamel stripes.
