Extremely fine and rare 18K gold and painted on enamel carnet fitted with concealed watch, printed calendar notebook for 1802 with a pencil, in a leather fitted box. Black, white, and blue champlevé enamel, designed as a clock with a flower urn at the top, center with Breguet numerals for the hour chapter, outer minute divisions. Small blued steel spade hands. Rectangular,25 x 10 mm, hinged, gilt brass, fixed barrel, cylinder escapement, three-arm brass balance with flat balance spring.Dim. 79 x 35 x 9 mm. Notes It is rare to find an object of vertu which is dated: this gives us the rare opportunity to date the watch - which was clearly made for the box - and the box itself, with great precision.
