Single piece of crystal, faceted on edges, diamond-set band. Off-white enamel ring with gold radial Arabic numerals, glazed center with skeletonized movement. Blued steel Breguet hands. Notes The present watch represents the ultimate in Art Deco elegance, during which period rock crystal cases were popular; the trend having been started by Cartier. Van Cleef & Arpels went a step further, skeletonizing the movement to enhance the effect of the crystal's transparency.
