Presentation Watch. Musy Padre e Figli, Torino, No. 97679 made for the Italian royal family, circa 1890. Very fine 18K gold and painted on enamel, diamond-set "chronomètre". Four-body, "bassine", back very finely decorated with multicolored champlevé enamel and diamond-set coat of arms of the Italian royal family, representing an eagle and the Savoy crest, gold hinged cuvette. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions with five-minute Arabic markers, subsidiary sunk seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands.
