Chinese, Qianlong Period Mark (1735-1796), likely 20th century. A porcelain vase of hu form with pear shaped body having narrow mouth flaring to bulbous base raised on round foot, the vase decorated on tondo with a finely painted under and overglaze landscape scene with traditional Chinese architecture amid lush flowering trees and tall mountains with cloud scrolls throughout, back of vase with two sail boats at center, vase with applied red and gilt reticulated handles at neck. Underside with six character blue underglaze Qianlong imperial reign mark. Approximately 7.875" tall, 7" diameter at widest point.
