Continental, likely 18th century. A pair of porcelain figural censers depicting a Persian or Ottoman male and female, each to a square green landscape motif plinth and wearing heavy white robes typical of the period and region decorated with hand painted gilt floral and foliate patterning, the man with traditional daggers and sword to his waist and headscarf to head, each with incense hole to top of head. Female figure marked to underside with incised "S" and with hand painted "MA". Male approximately 9.875" tall. Female approximately 9.25" tall. Provenance: From the Estate of Sam & Florence Inman, Atlanta, Georgia.
