Swiss. Produced circa 1900. Fine, rare and unusual, gilt pocket watch with pump quarter-repeating mechanism. Four-body,“bassine”, polished, hinged case back and cuvette. White enamel with painted radial Roman numerals, outer gold paillon minute divisions, inner concentric gold paillon and multi-colored floral decoration. Blued steel “Breguet” hands. Cal. 19’’’, gilt brass, bridge caliber, 10 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain brass 3-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, repeating on gong by repeatedly pressing the pendant.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 53 mm.
